Dewey F. Bartlett, Jr.

Dewey Bartlett Through his role as President of Keener Oil & Gas Company, Dewey F. Bartlett, Jr., continues the family tradition of working in the oil and gas business. After graduating in 1969 with a B.S. degree in Accounting from Regis College in Denver, he went on in 1971 to receive an MBA degree in Finance from SMU in Dallas. Dewey then worked in the oil fields for Halliburton Services and spent two years as a Landman for Beard Oil Company. Dewey joined Keener Oil Company (a prior Bartlett family business partnership) as a Landman and Co-Managing Partner in 1979. In 1987 Dewey became Managing Partner of Keener Oil Company. Keener Oil Company was dissolved in 1994, and in May of that same year Dewey formed Keener Oil & Gas Company, an Oklahoma corporation.

During his professional career, Dewey has held leadership positions with the Independent Petroleum Association of America (Board Member), Tulsa Community College Foundation (Board Member), the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (Board Member), the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (Chairman of the Board), the National Stripper Well Association (President), the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association (President and Board Member), the Tulsa Airport Authority (Board Member), the City Council for the City of Tulsa (Councilperson), the American Red Cross/Tulsa Chapter (Board Member and Chairman of the Board), the Frank Phillips Foundation-Woolaroc Museum Board (Trustee), University of Tulsa College of Business Administration (Executive Advisory Board Member), and the Grand River Dam Authority (Board of Directors). Dewey served as the Mayor of the City of Tulsa from December 2009 to December 2016.
